About Mixtape Letters

Mixtape Letters is an admittedly random collection of musings, where some minor attempt is made to keep things aurally oriented. I’m your host, mixtape:  a poor schmo with an affinity for all things audio.

I have a particular interest in making, editing, and listening to live recordings. I respect all honest music, but favor bubble-gum punk, rockabilly, and lo-fi indie. I currently play guitar, write, and sing for an outfit of two-bit hooligans.  I’m also learning to play the handsaw on the side.

I enjoy traveling immensely and do so whenever I’m not flat broke. I’ve spent a number of years  traveling within Germany and miss Berlin dearly. Heaven can’t be too dissimilar from eating a Yorckstraße Döner while reading a fresh copy of Straßenfeger.  I do believe in heaven.
