Yes, so I think that we should totally save the world. Whether it be from the antics of mutant reptiles, from the evil designs of malfunctioning supercomputers, or from your everyday meteorological crisis; I do find world-saving to be a totally worthwhile pursuit. We’ll just get that out of the way right up front.

That said, there’s simply some part of me that likes to hate the Live Earth Concerts. And I’m not entirely sure whether I can even begin to explain why. My stomach just gets a little queazy when politicians get involved in music. I get the same feeling when I catch musicians cozying up to politicians.

I propose therefore, that musicians stick to acridly criticizing politics wherever possible and that politicians stick to electioneering. I trust I can rely on your vote.
